Lake Purdy Alabama

Lake Purdy is a small community located just north of our offices and Highway 280 off Cahaba Valley Rd. Lake Purdy itself is located a little bit north along Highway 119. There are beautiful waterfront homes, great fishing, an excellent recreational facilities but for neighborhoods and residential communities, a little farther south is the community of Lake Purdy.

The population is roughly 7300 residents with a median household income of about $65,000. The median house or condominium valued at about $420,000, which is a bit higher than Alabama in general and surrounding subdivisions and suburbs of Birmingham.

This part of town features be beautiful brick homes, large estates, and homes worth several hundred thousand dollars. At any given time there's roughly 15 to 50 listings, foreclosures, single-family homes, condominiums and short sales on the market.

The median list price is about $537,000.

The light party area is easily accessible along Highway 280 (20 minutes from downtown Birmingham and features shops, Iverness Plaza the Walmart Supercenter, Joe's crab shack, churches, schools, and the Greystone golf and country club is just across Highway 119.
